By implementing the EM-CITY project we want to:
- promote interactive processes between local authorities, civil protection operators, young people, key community representatives, and other persons that can be useful during emergency situations.
- foster the role of the youth as "interactive bridges" between Civil Protection operators, Local Authorities, non-CALD, and CALD communities, citizens groups, and other key actors in the local area;
- promote civic engagement, active citizenship, civil protection values, emergency management skills on youth among the local community
- promote awareness of emergency communication issues (and creating solutions) among the stakeholders (involving both CALD and non-CALD people, CP operators, local authorities), and the local community.
Erasmus - Emergency Management by Communities’ Interaction Through Youth
In the context of the safe operation of an enterprise in an urban environment, the importance of resilience in matters of Civil Protection is often highlighted and various ways to strengthen it are sought.
The voluntary organization CCI with the creation and implementation of the innovative program "Resilient Enterprises in Civil Protection" comes to cover this need, to guide and strengthen an enterprise in an even safer environment and better prepared for emergencies, thus providing one more added value to the business itself and its employees, while at the same time participating in a more resilient (and therefore safer) community. A first approach to Civil Protection, first aid training , facing urban firefighting,
responsible and effective information, acquaintance with the relevant Civil Protection agencies and the city's voluntary organizations, are the main axes of the program
At the same time, maintaining contact with the network of the Organization of CCI ensures the formation of a culture of Civil Protection that is required to have even more secure entrepreneurship in a resilient environment with rules of prevention and early treatment.
